Alcohol volume: 40.00

Bottle Volume: 700.0

In 1996 and to commemorate the 200 years of its foundation, Hacienda Santa Teresa launched Santa Teresa 1796, the first Venezuelan rum made entirely by the traditional solera method, reserved until then for the production of brandy and sherry. It is a blend of continuous distillation rums and alembic artisan rum aged in second-hand white American oak barrels, previously used to age bourbon. Incredibly balanced, dry and smooth, it is recommended to drink alone, with ice, or with a touch of sparkling water and an orange twist.

Sight: Amber color.

Nose: Notes of sugar cane, fruity and woody. I recall the oaks that have aged it and it reminds of leather.

Mouth: Soft, dry and balanced. Big on the palate with hints of honey and wood. Then we discover nuts and spices. Souvenir of prunes. Long and elegant finish.
